Ann Hull was born in London of Donegal parents.
She was educated at Gumley House F.C.J. and the London School of Economics, and has worked for King's College London, the Inner London Probation Service & the Diocese of Westminster.
She lives with her husband and children near Rathmullan.
Her work has been broadcast on both live and studio-recorded editions of RTE’s Sunday Miscellany and she was shortlisted for the Donegal Creameries/North West Words Poetry Competition 2013. 'This Letter Was Once Intact', a piece of short fiction, was published in 'The Letters Page', a correspondence-themed literary journal with the written letter as its primary form edited by Jon McGregor.
