Some upcoming deadlines

I can't quite believe that the school holidays are almost over. This means for me that writing time is seriously reduced. I've been writing away over the summer and sending off stories to a range of journals and ezines.  I'm due to get word back soon on submissions - fingers crossed. 

Here are some ideas for upcoming deadlines:

Southword – poetry only for this edition– open in until 15/09  here

Wordlegs – poetry, flash and short stories – open until 30/09 - poetry, flash and short stories here

Abridged are seeking submissions for two issues: Blue 0 - 34; and Mara 0 - 13. Deadline for both is 30th September 2013. See here for more details.

Burning Bush 2 – poetry and flash only – open now until 01^st October here
