Some submission deadlines in October and November

So, we're deeply embedded in the autumn season now. How about curling up with a magazine, or indulging in some ezines? Or, if you've work to submit, here are a few ideas for magazines and ezines with submission periods now open.

The Letters Page - edited by Jon McGregor. Issue 2 The Penpal Issue - wants handwritten letters on one side of one A4 page - deadline 16th October. See here Get  issue 1 to your inbox from this link. Ann Hull, Garden Room Writer, has a lovely letter in there alongside letters from Colum McCann and Clare Wigfall.

TheSouth Circular - short stories, deadline 21st October. See here 

The Stinging Fly - poetry, fiction, book reviews etc.. see here open to submissions in October 2013.

The Linnet's Wings - publishes poetry, flash, micros, short story and creative non-fiction. See details here I've a story due out  in The Linnet's Wings over the Winter... exciting!

The Penny Dreadful - publishes poetry, flash, and short story. See details here  Submissions open 5th Oct and close 5th November.
