Students from Ayr Hill
and St. Mary’s National Schools will tell stories to families and the visiting
storytellers.

Stories around the
Hearth: Intimate storytelling in a number of homes.
Saturday: 9th
10.00: Storytelling for early years with parents.
An interactive
storytelling session which will give parents some tips on storytelling and reading
in the home.
Venue: Old Meeting House. Admission: €3 per child.

11.00 Storytelling for children.
Venue: Town Hall. Admission: €3 per child.
3 – 4.30pm
Storytelling and
songs.
An interactive session
exploring the links between storytelling and songs hosted by renowned singer
songwriter Colum Sands.
He will be joined by
local band In Their Thousands and other local singers to share thoughts and
songs.
Venue: Old Meeting House. Admission: €5.
8pm: ‘3 edges of the same sea: stories from
Ireland, Norway and Iceland’
GALA Storytelling and
Music.
Music by Colum Sands and guests.

Storytelling workshop:
An opportunity to pick
up some tips on storytelling from the storytellers.
